DogShelter.com functions exclusively as an online directory and communication tool connecting prospective adopters with independent animal shelters and rescue organizations.
DogShelter.com does not own, possess, board, transport, or sell animals. We do not act as an adoption agency, legal representative, or guarantor of any listed organization or pet.
2. Accuracy of Listing Information
Dog profiles, breed estimations, medical histories, and behavioral assessments are provided directly by the participating rescue organizations. While we enforce listing freshness and review organization authenticity, DogShelter.com cannot guarantee that listing descriptions, photos, or breed identifications are completely error-free.
Future animal behavior cannot be guaranteed based on past shelter notes. Adopters are urged to consult directly with shelter personnel and their licensed veterinarian.
3. Shelter Responsibilities
Organizations utilizing DogShelter.com agree to maintain accurate availability records, respond to community inquiries professionally, comply with local animal welfare regulations, and promptly remove adopted or unavailable dogs.
4. Reporting Inaccuracies
If you identify fraudulent listings, inaccurate fees, or policy violations, please utilize our Report a Listing workflow.
